Why am I out?

Because I refused to let gender get in the way of love. And it has rewarded me with the best girlfriend anyone could ask for. She's always there for me, and helps to motivate me, to make me better than I am. She never gives up on me, and I feel like a better person when she's near. We'll soon be celebrating our first year together as a couple, and I can't wait to make her feel like the queen she is. She rules my heart, and I want to make her just as happy as she makes me. Students who describe themselves as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgendered are five times more likely to miss school because of feeling unsafe. 28% are forced to drop out.
